KEY DECISIONS / ACTIONS
Importance of a website to provide information
Reach out to people in the Region
Refocus our monthly telecalls to share and support projects
Focus the Network on building individual connections rather than trying to create a team
More frequent newsletter.
Amir (pictured right with Eszter) and Laura made all the arrangements, including airport collections and making sure we were all taken well care of.
First day we spent relaxing, walking, eating, preparing food. We even visited a bear sanctuary (for ex Circus bears!).
Key point from the day was that although we are all learning Nonviolent Communication, we still have a long way to go when it comes to more basic communication. If we had communicated more then we would for sure have met with some of the Hungarian NVC'ers ... a missed opportunity for us. It did trigger us to consider what we want from this Network. A general conclusion was that some want to actively reach out and welcome new people to connect with the Network. Others are more focussed on the existing community, though would welcome an expanding Network. Eva and Ian agreed to take this forward.
DAY TWO
Spent the morning on empathy and bringing everyone into the group. And the afternoon sharing our dreams for ourselves, our work and this Network. Maja (with Mum Ania on the left) was a great help with some face painting to relax us (!) and joined in the visualisation of our dreams by drawing pictures.

Laura (right) demonstrates the latest in face fashion design.
And Monica (right) demonstrates that eating cookies can help too.
Maja also helped by sticking bits of papers of paper on our heads - as modelled by Jo (left).
While Vivet (right) clearly isn't sure what to make of all of this!
DAY THREE
Down to the serious business of deciding what to do next and coming up with some plans. Ian (that's me below) shows his 'serious look' and Eva gets ready for a rest from all the hard work. Open Space format helped us discuss Womens' Project, bringing NVC to teachers, how we want to link with the international and local groups, how to reach it and grow the Network and ideas for our next meeting (July in Poland).
Yes .. and there she is with Mona taking a well earned break from it all.
