My name is Merike – my mother gave me this name because she loved the sea and ‘meri’ means the sea in my mother tongue - Estonian. I am 42 years old and I have great luck to be a grandmother of little girl Keiti Marii. Seeing my daughter and her partner's struggles with starting their family, I am recognising, that it is very difficult for young people to create emotionally healthy families without much material and emotional support!
My passion is to support parents and children with communication and empathy skills! My aim is to offer NVC as a tool for healing the pain and creating relationships based on mutual respect, equally valued needs, love, trust and care. In order to manifest this dream Estonian NVC NGO is in a preparation phase with a project called „NEST EDUCATION“ (initial name).

I have been sharing NVC for 6 years and since June 2006 I belong to the family of certified trainers. Since 2005 I work a freelancer and I am happy living my Life by my deepest values that includes sharing NVC and creating life-serving culture within oneself and in outside world.
