About The Network

Short history

The Network came together in June 2006 at a 1 week workshop (East-West Advanced Training) when a group of people decided they wanted to form a Network to support them in their activities sharing NVC.

The Network is completely open to anyone and our aim is to be transparent and inclusive. We do not have any hierarchy and no 'rule book'.

A few words about how we make decisions ......

Decisions help us move forward and we decided to use a method called sociocracy to make sure, as far as possible, that all those affected by a decision are heard and are able to live with the decisions we make together. This particular consensus approach allows our decisions to evolve over time and ensure that we do not get stuck.

Our monthly teleconferences, YahooGroup and bi-annual meetings are the forums where we make decisions together ... and these are open to all.
